CANADIAN REPRESENTATIVE - CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
Event: FISU Student Ambassadors Programme - Season 2026/27
Date: September 2026 to June 2027
FISU Student Ambassador Programme Season 2026/27
The program aims to elevate global awareness of FISU’s activities and events while fostering the development of university sports worldwide. It seeks to educate student ambassadors from National and Continental University Sports Federations (NUSF/CUSF) and increase their engagement in FISU initiatives. Additionally, the program promotes the value of university sports and healthy living among young people through traditional and digital media. By producing compelling visuals, it strengthens FISU’s brand while integrating sustainability, inclusion, and gender equality into its efforts.
The program includes:
• Training & Onboarding: A two-day flagship online training officially grants ambassadors their status for one year. They start engaging with their NUSF to develop action plans.
• Webinars & Skill Development: Monthly webinars cover various topics, including FISU initiatives, group proposals, volunteer management, gender equality, soft skills, and event planning.
• Action Plan Development: Ambassadors work on drafting, refining, and finalizing their action plans in collaboration with their NUSF/CUSF.
• Implementation & Engagement: Ambassadors put their action plans into action, participate in individual meetings, and engage with FISU committees.
• Reporting & Evaluation: Three midterm reports are submitted throughout the programme to track progress.
• Group Proposals & Presentations: Ambassadors present group proposals twice during the year to showcase their initiatives.
• International Day of University Sport: Ambassadors prepare for and participate in this global celebration.
• Programme Conclusion & Transition: The season wraps up with a final results review and preparation for the next cohort of ambassadors.
